Auto-bidAs a bidder, you don't have to constantly watch auctions and worry about being outbid! All GovDeals Internet Auctions feature an auto-bid. In the bid box on the auction view page, enter the HIGHEST dollar amount that you are willing to pay, and the GovDeals bidding system will bid on your behalf by placing a bid at the current LOWEST minimum bid. If another bidder outbids your LOWEST minimum bid, the system will automatically place another bid, once again making you the current high bidder, until your "top dollar" number is reached. The auto-bidding system will continue to place the LOWEST minimum bids on your behalf until you are the winner of the auction or another bidder bids higher than your auto-bid. Auto-bids are completely private and are never displayed to other bidders. In the event of a reserve price auction, your auto-bid will immediately bid up to the amount of the reserve OR to the max amount of your auto-bid if the reserve price is in excess of your auto-bid.
Bid ExtensionIf a bid is placed during the final 3 minutes of an auction, the auction's current end time will automatically extend for additional 3 minutes. This will continue until no bids are placed during the last three minutes.
Probation Level 1 BiddingThis Seller has instituted a Bidder Probation Restriction on this auction. To have this restriction removed, a $1,000 refundable deposit in the form of a Certified Cashier's Check or U.S. Postal Money Order must be mailed to GovDeals, Inc., 100 Capitol Commerce Boulevard, Suite 110, Montgomery, AL 36117. Up for auction is 2014 Ford Explorer, police interceptor, as shown in the pictures. This vehicle has a 3.7 L V6 and automatic transmission. This vehicle was purchased new by the university, but has been sitting for a little while and now the check engine light is on. There is wear on the driver’s door arm rest and of course the driver’s seat. I also noticed some rips on the inner side and back of the driver’s seat also, see pictures. There is no center console, as that’s where the police equipment was located and it has been removed. Over all the paint and body look pretty good, I saw 1 small scuff on trim under drives door, and a spot on the rear bumper, again look at picture. Going to need a set of tires, as they all seem worn down pretty good. This vehicle was setup with a cage in the back, but was take out as it was not needed. The cage is included and is apart, and laying in the back of the vehicle. Pictures are part of the description and will show more on the condition, so look at them closely.
Info received on this vehicle: This vehicle became road ready in Dec. 2013 and it was t boned on the rear driver’s side in an accident January 2014, repaired and put back in service. In August 2017 it was involved in a center island drive over accident causing damage to the front driver’s side and undercarriage, it was repaired and put back into service. In March 2018 it was hit by another vehicle on the front tire on the passenger side, again it was repaired and put back in service. It has had regular oil changes and repairs have been done when needed.
Vehicle has: P.S. P.B., P.L., P.W., Tilt, A/C, cruise, AM/FM CD stereo, intermittent wipers.
We believe the speedo is correct at 110,083 miles.
Idle hours are 17,426.
It has a clear Missouri title. NOTE; the title will be mailed to the buyer as we no longer keep them at this site. You will be contacted for how you want it titled after payment.
Please be responsible and bring all necessary tools, and equipment, to remove vehicle. As we do not have anything at its location to assist you with.
Color: White, with black interior.
This vehicle was used as a police vehicle, and shows wear inside and out for that type environment. You should expect paint peeling and fading, dings, dents, rust, torn or damaged interior, etc. We have provided pictures of what we have noted by walking around the vehicle one time, there may be more that was missed, so please make your own inspection.
The purchaser should expect to check and add fluids if needed, before moving this vehicle, along with checking tire pressures. It is highly recommended that you view this vehicle in person before bidding.

|Questions and Answers|
Q: Does the car run and drivable?
Any others majors mechanical issues such us transmission, engine etc..
Thanks. (11/25/20 11:20 AM)
A: Vehicle was running and driving when taken out of service, has been sitting, so I would recommend having a full service and inspection by your mechanic. I have only parking lot drove it since being turned over to Surplus Property, as plates and insurance have been dropped. I believe the transmission was worked on/repaired when vehicle went over the concrete medium. (11/25/20 3:05 PM)
Q: Normally I wouldn't ask, but since its been in at least 3 Bad Wrecks makes me ask if it has a Clear Title, or Salvaged Title? Thanks.
Also if I do happen to Win would it be possible to obtain the Center Console? (11/25/20 2:08 PM)
A: Vehicle has original Missouri title, I do not see Salvage listed any where on the title. This was built as a police vehicle so it never came with a normal console. The console was built to hold all the police equipment that has been removed. What's left of that console, I believe is in the back part of the vehicle, metal box looking thing with holes cut in it.
