2003 Tarco Highlander HL-HY2-8 Salt Spreader. 4-6 yard capacity, stainless steel hopper, Stands Alone brand self loading stand.
Spreader was dropped while unloading it from a truck. The frame is twisted, hopper is bent, the stand is twisted and bent up. It is not known if anything else was damaged. The chain rusted through. May only be good for scrap. It was taken out of service 11/2019.
NOTE: City of Raleigh will assist loading this onto a trailer with a forklift. The stand is not removable, and we will not collapse it. It is not guaranteed that the stand will support the spreader in transit, and it is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the spreader is supported securely for transport.
Measures: 9'8" tall X 8'4" wide X 12'7" long.

TAX CALCULATION & EXEMPTIONS
TAX CALCULATION: Sale Tax, where applicable, will be calculated and added at the end of the auction.
TAX EXEMPTION: Where taxes are applicable (see the Buyer's Certificate), Tax Exempt documents must be provided to Bidder Services at email@example.com within 24 hours of the auctions close and before payment is made. Bidders are encouraged to submit their Tax Exempt Documentation prior to the Auction's close to expedite this process. Please contact Bidder Services for all tax exemption questions.
Due to Covid-19 health issues, the City of Raleigh is not allowing buyers inside our facilities. Inspection and removal of equipment/vehicle is strictly by appointment only. If you do not have an appointment and show up unexpectedly to inspect or pick-up a piece of equipment/vehicle, you will be advised to return at a later date and time when your appointment has been scheduled. While on site, you will be required to maintain social distancing and use face covering as recommended by the State's Executive Order. Once a sale is awarded and a pickup appointment scheduled, Buyer’s will be advised to meet with a City representative at the site’s parking lot with their Govdeals ”Buyer’s Certificate” (hard copy or electronic copy) or they may email it to Tyler.Carpenter@raleighnc.gov . This document must be provided prior to removal of the piece of equipment. The person picking the equipment/vehicle up will be required to provide their driver’s license or other valid picture ID to be photographed for pickup records. At that time, a copy of the Bill of Sale and the completed title in an envelope with the keys that are available for the item purchased, will be given to the person picking up the piece of equipment/vehicle.

Successful bidders are 100% responsible for loading and removal of any and all property awarded to them from the place where the property is located as indicated on the website and in the Buyer’s Certificate. If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid.
