The City of Springdale is offering for auction one Honda-Hurricane positive pressure fan. This gas-powered unit is operable and was used in the ventilation of smoke-filled buildings. It is red and white in color and constructed of metal.

This item can be inspected for the duration of the auction Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Springdale Fire Department located at 12147 Lawnview Avenue, Springdale, OH 45246. Payment in full is due not later than five (5) business days from the time and date of the Buyer's Certificate and shall be made directly to the City of Springdale. Acceptable forms of payment are: U.S. Currency, Wire Transfer/ACH, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or Certified Cashier's Check.

Certified Cashier's Checks shall be made payable to: City of Springdale, OH

An administrative fee of 7.5% of the final bid amount will be added to the final bid. The combined total of the winning bid and the administrative fee is the amount to remit to the City and will be reflected in the Buyer's Certificate.

All payment processing is handled through the Administrative Office at 11700 Springfield Pike, Springdale, OH 45246. Please contact Sr. Administrative Assistant Stephanie Morgan at 513-346-5708 to make payment arrangements. Once payment is complete, further instructions will be provided regarding pickup of the asset(s).

Property will be released only upon receipt of payment as specified.

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No assistance will be provided. The Buyer must complete an Authorization of Release and remit to the City of Springdale in order for an individual other than the Buyer to remove the item on the Buyer's behalf. This would include any packing, shipping, and transporting companies.

The City of Springdale reserves the right to assess a daily storage fee of $10.00 for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.

Guaranty Waiver. All property is offered for sale 'AS IS, WHERE IS.' The City of Springdale makes no warranty, guaranty or representation of any kind, expressed or implied, as to the merchantability or fitness for any purpose of the property offered for sale. Please note that upon removal of the property, all sales are final.

Description Warranty. The City of Springdale warrants to the Buyer that the property offered for sale will conform to its description. Any claim for misdescription must be made prior to removal of the property. If the City of Springdale confirms that the property does not conform to the description, the City of Springdale will keep the property and refund any money paid. The liability of the City of Springdale shall not exceed the actual purchase price of the property.
