Bidders shall adhere to the inspection dates and times offered by the County of Cape May. We encourage ALL bidders to inspect vehicles. All vehicles are sold "as is where is" with no warranty expressed or implied. Vehicle is located at the County Mechanic Shop in a locked area. To schedule an inspection, bidders must email Shannon Chiera at firstname.lastname@example.org or call (609) 465-1293 between 9AM and 2PM, twenty-four (24) hours in advance. Payment methods for this item are Wire Transfer, PayPal, or credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express*, Discover) only. * American Express is not available for buyers on probation. PayPal and credit card purchases are limited to below $5,000.00 and Bidders residing in the United States, Canada and Mexico Only. If the winning bid plus applicable taxes, if any indicated, plus the buyer's premium equals to $5,000.00 or more, Wire Transfer must be used. Buyers on level one probation have a PayPal and Credit Card limit of $1,000. If Wire Transfer is chosen, a Wire Transfer Transaction Summary page will provide payment and account information. The Wire Transfer must be completed within 5 days unless otherwise specified below.
Payment must be receipted at Gov Deals, via their Pay Pal/Credit Card payment program immediately after the sale and no later than five (5) business days from the sale end date. If payment is not receipted by Gov. Deals within five (5) business days, the property may be auctioned at the next County sale. NO PAYMENT will be receipted by the County of Cape May. Gov. Deals will issue a Buyer’s Certificate to the winning bidder at the auction’s end date. Under no circumstances will the County of Cape May release any items without the Buyer’s Certificate from Gov. Deals.
A VALID Drivers License of person actually picking-up Vehicle is required to pickup this Vehicle.
ADVANCED NOTICE: Forty-eight (48) Hour Advanced Notice is required for pick up.
PICKUP TIMEFRAME: Vehicle will be available for pickup ONLY between the hours of 9AM and 1PM, Tuesday through Thursday, excluding legal holidays. NO EXCEPTIONS: Unless arranged otherwise by Shannon Chiera.

NO LOADING ASSISTANCE: The BUYER must perform all work necessary to remove the Vehicle, including packaging, loading, securing, and transporting the item. No assistance from County will be given to load vehicle.
*DOCUMENTATION: BUYER must produce a VALID Drivers License at pick up, which will be photocopied. Vehicle will be released ONLY with a VALID Drivers License and the Buyer's Certificate from Gov. Deals. Buyer will be asked to sign a Bill of Sale upon pick-up of Vehicle.
PICKUP DEADLINE: Vehicle must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer’s Certificate.
FAILURE TO PICKUP: If Buyer fails to pick up the Vehicle by the eleventh (11) business day, the Vehicle will be resold and the Buyer will forfeit their payment of the Vehicle and their participation in the Gov. Deals auction site.
*DRIVING VEHICLE AWAY: BUYER must TOW or HAUL away. You will NOT be able to drive the vehicle at pick-up. The vehicle does not run.
1. Pay for Vehicle through GovDeals.
2. Schedule Pickup with Shannon Chiera 48-hours in advance. Indicate person picking-up Vehicle.
3. At Pickup: Provide signed Buyer's Certificate & valid Drivers License of person picking-up.
4. At Pickup: Sign Bill of Sale; Photocopy of Drivers License will be taken for County Records.
5. At Pickup: BUYER is responsible for loading Vehicle; No assistance is given by County.
6. Remove Vehicle. BUYER must TOW or HAUL away.
*VEHICLE REGISTRATION with NJMVC is required PRIOR to operating Vehicle.

If Seller confirms that the property does not conform to the description, Seller will keep the property and refund any money paid.
