Used/See Description Collectibles KCF - Wood Burning Cook Stove
This is a used, Home Comfort wood burning cook stove that has been stored in a barn for almost a year, but prior to that, was used for the past 25-30 years in a working 1890's farm house kitchen. This unit worked at the time of the removal in May of 2019, supplying heat to the kitchen of the farm house, as well as the heat to cook. The stove top has 4 working burners and an oven; it looks a little sooty and rusty, but with a little cleaning up, this one could be a nice little gem.

Reading up on the history of the Home Comfort wood cook stoves, they were produced from the late 19th Century until the early 1940s. This unit has a temperature gauge and was most likely made around or after 1920. Home Comfort cook stoves are made of cast iron and coated with enamel.

A: We do not know the exact weight of the unit, but since it is all metal, guesstimate it to be several hundred pounds; but this unit can be disassembled and moved in parts. The measurements are 57" wide x 31" deep x 58.5" high, the cook top measures 22.5" x 31" overall. (2/27/20 9:48 AM)

Property may be removed by appointment only and appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance. All items must be removed within ten (10) business days from the time and date of issuance of the Buyer's Certificate.

The Buyer will make all arrangements and perform all work necessary, including packing, loading and transportation of the property. No Assistance will be provided. A daily storage fee of $10.00 may be charged for any item not removed within the 10 business days allowed and stated on the Buyer's Certificate.
